I am a new resident to Florida. Visited this place twice to mail my letters. Each time Ms. Roxanne, who works at the postal department, had been very helpful and kind. She was very patient and answered all my questions and provided me with needed information. She had a kind and sweet approach to her customers. GREAT JOB ROXANNE !!!

Roxanne who works in the post office area of the store is magnificent. Recently, there was a long line of customers and she kept her cool and kept everything orderly and fast BUT she went above and beyond when I had to mail some extremely valuable items that are also very dear to me. She patiently walked me through my options and personally secured my items by papering and stamping all the seams and putting it in a safe until pickup. I cannot thank her enough.

Lovely store with really helpful staff. We have bought toys and school uniforms there and each experience has been wonderful. If you’re not sure what to get a kiddo for a gift, this is the place to stop; the staff will help with all of it. Also really appreciate their safety protocols in these strange times. Highly recommend!

I was nervous about trying to buy school uniforms for the first time, but the staff was so helpful! They knew exactly what I needed, good thing, because I sure didn’t! I even got a head start on Christmas thanks to the great advice I got on toys while shopping!!

This afternoon I called Children’s World to place a curb side order, but was told that I needed to come in person because I was paying with a voucher. (I have placed a curb side pick up with a voucher in the past) So when I went in shortly after, employee Barbra immediately yelled at me to put on a mask. When I informed her I could not because of a disability, she proceeded to get in my face (not social distancing from me even though I was trying to social distance) and yelled at me to get out of the store. I told her that I was social distancing and she continued to yell in my face that I needed to go outside. Every time I tried to speak, she interrupted me my screaming to get out and to leave. Barbara did not care at all that she was in violation of both HIPAA and the ADA. She proceeded to tell me that I had to call from outside to place my order for a curb side pickup. I told her I talked to her 30 minutes before and she had told me I was not allowed to place an order over the phone. Her response was to again yell in my face that I needed to get out of the store. I will no longer be supporting this store even though I get free uniform vouchers. I do not want to give any money to support someone who would scream in the face of anyone, let alone someone with a medical disability.

Horrible customer service from Barbara. I called to check on an order placed over 2 months ago and was told my child is an odd size(plus size) so its not there job to have it in stock(thats why I special ordered it). I have called every few weeks to check on the status of the hoodie order and was told several times it would only be 2 weeks more.. When I tried explaining this to Barbara she got very loud and said that covid has caused the delay with im sure is true but the the way she would not hear me about the other employees telling me it would be in 2 weeks every time I called. And her calling my teen girl an odd size when there are plenty of kids/teens that are plus size is so not right.. They are not inclusive of anyone plus size and are very rude about having to order something that is in the plus size range.

Awful customer service.I purchased a sweatshirt for my sons uniform and it was too small. There was a small dot on the back that was noticed when I brought it in to exchange. Likely there when I bought it, it was so hard to see. And the cheap sticker tag was not there. I honestly don’t know if it was there when I purchased. He never wore it because he tried it on and it didn’t fit. I immediately put in bag and went to exchange a few days later. They refused citing these reasons. Frankly they were rude on top of it. So many families are struggling with decisions right now on back to school, some may be out of work trying to figure out how to pay for these things. This is needless focus on “policy”. Treat the customer.

The store is wonderful and has a lot of neat games and trinkets. The only improvement I can see is one employee that works in the post office. It always seems like it's an inconvenience to help customers or to be friendly.

My husband was a combat veteran of the US Army and lost his battle to PTSD on 01.08.2020. Today I had the heavy task of shipping a portion of his remains to my "in-loves" that live states away. I came to Children's World in hopes that they would be able to handle such a task and because the staff has always been kind, courteous, and they are a Christ centered business. But today I saw another side of their staff that I haven't seen before. Although it was an extremely hard task to do, I am so grateful I chose to come here. They were so compassionate, kind, and empathetic. I left today in tears because of how Ms. Roxanne handled the entire process with such grace. I don't know if she or the other staff that helped will even see this post, but I wanted to express how much your tenderness touched me today. You helped ease the process and for that I will forever be grateful.

What a wonderful surprise....went to get a uniform and found a hidden treasure. Besides the uniforms, they also have a wide variety of educational toys and knick knacks. They also have a calendar for the month and have various play days on some of the Saturdays..

I am in the process of rebuilding my company website and needed some shirts with a quick turnaround, less than a week to be exact. Tim and his team jumped right on it and produced a product that exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for quality, service and responsiveness, Children's World is the place to go. Excellent Experience during the Busy Back To School TimeUpon our arrival, the parking lot was at capacity and we were so lost in the sea of people that were packed into your store. We haven't had to buy school uniforms for years and didn't even know where to start. Immediately, upon entering Children's World, we were greeted kindly. Our look of being overwhelmed and not knowing what we were even looking for was recognized and the sweetest associate, Maddie greeted us and walked us through the entire process. She juggled assisting multiple customers with such ease and grace. Not only did I witness this kind of care and connection from our sales associate but all of the workers present.What really touched me was what happened at the cash register. A father was attempting to purchase clothes and his cards kept getting declined. The cash register worker was kind to him and in no way made him feel rushed to figure out the transaction. He ended up getting it worked out but the compassion your associate showed was heartwarming.I have always been impressed with all the care you take in filling our business requests but now I am able to see that you have created a work culture that is such a blessing to this community.Thank you!!!

Went to pick up my grandsons uniforms that my daughter ordered and paid for. The woman who waited on me was the rudest person I’ve encountered in a very long time! I have told my daughter to get her next order of uniforms from somewhere else. Why ask if you can help someone and then be a nasty wench? You need a new career choice lady!

I think most parents would agree that back-to-school shopping is one of the most dreaded duties of parenting. The crowds are messy and rude, the parents are grumpy, the kids are feisty and hate the required uniforms....I absolutely hate it😩Unfortunately, because I hate it so much, I often end up leaving it until the last minute which results in even more stress. For the last four years I have taken my four children to Children’s World for uniforms and as my blood pressure starts to go up and I try to breathe amongst the frenzy of people who also waited until the last minute, the employees are the calm in the storm. They are all so cool, calm, and collected. I so dread this time and I only have to do it with four kids for one or two days each year. Think about this....the team at Children’s World services an entire community, thousands of miserable parents and children, all day every day for weeks, and they do it with so much patience and grace!!! I now know thats because the owner Cynthia, who I only just met this summer, is a super hardworking woman of grace and she selectively chooses her team to ensure they share her work ethic and heart to serve her customers. This business is a gem and a huge blessing to our community, serving us with such patience while most of us are at our very ugliest.

They were able to complete the large order in a very timely matter and all the uniforms have been great in quality. Love that they have added the light blue dri-fit as an option too! I'm very disappointed with my order. First of all call, I called ahead before placing my order online to ensure delivery before school started. I was assured that it would arrive on time. So I went ahead and placed my order, paid for everything and got my email receipt confirmation. A day later I received an email stating that some of the items I ordered would be shipped separately. A copy of my receipt confirmation and order summary was included in the email. When my account was debited it was for a higher amount than what my receipt was for. They divided my order into two and ship them separately then charged me an additional shipping fee when I placed only one order. I still haven't received all the items I've order. I've been calling the store and all I got was continuous ringing with no answer. I just received the uniforms and to my dismay the name of the school was iron into the uniform rather than embroidered. It was cheaply done and cost so much money. I could've gone to Walmart or Michael's and bought the same lettering and iron it onto the uniforms myself for a fraction of price. First and last time ordering from Children's World. Beyond disappointed!!!

Omg! If you have that much volume in your store, for the love of God expand it! I literally had a panic attack because of the tiny enclosure and so many ppl. The waiting in line didn't bother me. It was the waiting awkardly so others could finish doing what they needed to do, so I could move about your store. You might as well hand out paper bags to your customers.

Whoever answers these reviews are the epitome of the problems with this store. They are very rude. They are defensive! And they refuse to do better. The same way they pop back at people is how they treat you in store. If the quality of their product was better, I wouldn't mind spending a little more. But it is not. The pants are terrible. Many people feel this way about this place but they are scared to write a review and they ONLY shop at this store because their school makes them do so. If this store had to get clients on their own, they would not last. But because schools promote them and make parents go here, that is how they remain open. They can bully whomever they want, but the truth is the truth. They need more cashiers and more space. Telling people to get over it and just shop online is rude. I do not shopping for my kids online for uniforms because I usually do not get the fit right. They also need better fabric for their bottoms and better fitting pieces. All the kids hate how hard they are and uncomfortable. Spend more time improving your product and less time bullying people from being honest online!Ridiculous! I called ahead of time to order and was told the dresses I wanted are not online. So I come into the store and they only have one color! So I ask where the others are they said they were out. They said I have to custom order the color I wanted and then proceeded to tell me if I was upset about waiting (I was waiting in a 45 minute line at this point), I could order online. I then say, why didn't they tell me this beforehand?! The lady then says it is under another category on the website and I was told wrong. I had to wait 15 minutes to make the custom order and then I had to wait in line again to buy it!!!!! Unbelievable I am so disappointed that our school uses this store!!!! There are so many options online and in town. This store is backwards as hell, long lines and inefficient!!!! People wait forever to be told to go into another line! They aren't on the same page because I had to go into two lines to order. Not to mention the other people who were here complaining about other issues! Everyone talks about the lines here! They are making so much money off these uniforms! They could at least add registers and people who can do multiple things.

Very impressed with my first experience with Children's World. I'm sad to say I've never been to this local to me store. The employees behave as ALL employees should. They were warm, helpful, not pushy. They turned me on to a couple items I wouldn't have looked twice at. I didn't feel pressured, and instead left with a warm, fuzzy feeling. You don't get THAT from Amazon.

Both Business World and Childrens World are in the same building as well as a US Post Office. I have frequented their location over the last 5 years. The help is outstanding and Tim Holliday is great to work with for Promotional items.... If there were 6 Stars, I would give them 6 Stars.

UPDATED: Since our last visit to Children's world owners Tim & Cynthia have been very diligent about making sure we felt comfortable to return and we have used both the post office and toy store with positive experiences. As I mentioned before, the owners are wonderful people and the toy store itself is a favorite of our children. Everyone has a bad day, and the review below that originally had 1 star is a reflection of a single incident that is NOT characteristic of this business.****Former 1 star review****I asked my wife to swing by in order to drop off a package to be mailed. We had a label printed out, but hadn't taped it to the package. I assumed there would be tape available as there had been in the past. Unfortunately there wasn't. The lady at the store refused to assist my wife in getting some tape so we had to buy tape for $5. Since they have a limit of $10 for debit cards, my wife had to buy a few other things. Finally, once ready to check out, they refused to accept the transaction because my wife was using my debit card and there was no signature on the back. Now I don't think what they did was unreasonable, BUT, it's the way in which my wife was treated that was the problem. The lady was snobby, acted as if my wife was an idiot, and was unhelpful.Perhaps some people consider 1 star to be harsh, but here's the thing. YOU NEVER KNOW WHERE SOMEONE IS COMING FROM. My wife was on her way to pick up medication for our son who is struggling with asthma at home today. We had to bring him to the doctors where he spent over an hour as the doctors considered sending him to the hospital overnight because he wasn't getting enough oxygen each time he breathed. She is 35 weeks pregnant with our 5th child who has been diagnosed with growth restriction in the womb. It's super hot outside and she's walking in with a heavy box. She tried to be nice at first, but by the end had had enough. And don't say "We have a policy" (regarding the debit card and the tape) in a snotty way and refuse to be helpful and pleasant.CW had a chance to help someone out. To be the bigger person and offer some tape to my wife could simply drop off the package and move on with her day. Instead, she spent 30 minutes with a rude employee and then found herself crying in her car when she finally did make it to drugstore.THIS is the reason I'm giving this business 1 star. I know the owner & the family and I can attest they are wonderful people, but on more than one occasion have I been less than impressed with the attitude of the staff there. I'm glad to see that most people rank this business highly, and it probably deserves it. But with our experience of CW today, it gets 1 star.

I would choose no other company than children's world for my custom embroidered business shirts. They are the utmost professional company. I bought all my uniforms with embroidering from them. I remember when I got the first shirt completed. They took extra time to make sure that it looked exactly right before they did all the rest of the shirts.I was giving away for free microfiber towels for people to clean televisions that I install all the time. Tim the owner helped me customize a screen printed microfiber. I now leave my customer with a good promotional item that they can use for years and they always see my name on it.If you want promotional items that fit your business and your customers, there is no better choice than Children's world.Finally, the actual store for kids is a must go place if you have any child that's Young. The toys are so into unique and most of them promote your child using their brain. I love the store. Even as an adult you can't help but wanting to play with the toys.

I have used Childrens World for business t shirts, promotional products including snacks, stickers,notepads,trucks, .Everything that has been purchased has great quality and handled in a professional manner. They are great and I would suggest for anyone to use them for your promotional needs . You will not be disappointed they are the best. Awesome business. Very clean organized. Very polite. It's a pleasure doing business with such a great team of people.
